After 24 months of construction, this large residence has just been inaugurated in Gard

We had to wait 24 months to see it come out of the ground. Located near the town center and shops of Bagnols-sur-Cèze (Gard), the “Résidence des Vigne” has just been inaugurated after an official opening on September 25.

It will strengthen the supply of social housing in this town located at the gateway to Provence. The lessor “La Cité Jardins” is thus establishing itself for the first time on Gard territory. “La Cité Jardins aims to strengthen its presence in the Gard by providing accessible, quality housing solutions to residents,” he explains.

65 accommodations

In detail, this intergenerational residence is made up of 65 accommodationsdont 44 T2 apartments et 21 T3 apartments. T2 apartments start from 44 m² and T3 from 57.80 m².

This project, deeply rooted in our history, required breaking stainless steel tanks to give a second life to the old cooperative cellar. It is no coincidence that this residence bears the name of the vines, a symbol of our local roots and our ability to reinvent ourselves.

All accommodations open onto an outdoor space (terrace, balcony or loggia). “These amenities allow residents to take full advantage of the department's many sunny days and its pleasant Mediterranean climate,” welcomes La Cité Jardins, a subsidiary of Action Logement, which does not forget to point out that the residence has numerous amenities: A elevatorof the parking lots on the ground floor, motorized roller shuttersof the shelters of jardinand local has bikes.

The residence also has a common room with kitchen area on the ground floor of 87 m², which opens onto a large terrace and a shared garden including a boulodrome.

Thanks to the Action Cœur de Ville program and the support of Action Logement, which finances 70% of this project, we were able to offer 65 housing units accessible to everyone, from young people to seniors and families. With common spaces and architecture respectful of heritage, this residence is not just a set of buildings: it is an inclusive living space that promotes social connections.

Actions will also be taken to promote and encourage mutual assistance between neighbors and thus fight against solitude. “Numerous activities with local actors are planned throughout the year within the residence: sophrology, yoga, memory games, nature outings…” concludes the social landlord.
