on American time for the Truck Grand Prix

Gathering of American cars, baptisms on the circuit, parades, exhibitor village… like every year “Albi American Festival” will accompany the Grand Prix Camions d’Albi. See you from October 26 to 27 at the Albi circuit: between two races the public is invited to stroll between the stands and take part in numerous activities.

As for the Grand Prix, as always it promises the impressive spectacle of dozens of steel monsters launched onto the track. A festive and free event, entirely focused on the pleasures of mechanics.

Saturday October 26, an appointment is made for a friendly evening around chestnuts in the village of Bellegarde-Marsal. For this gourmet and festive evening, the menu serves as a program.

From 7 p.m., large tables with aperitif, soup, stuffed chicken, cheese, apple pie. Without forgetting the daytime stars, the roasted chestnuts to snack on throughout the evening. As for the festivities, accordionist Bernard Gâches will invite you to dance with a musette, traditional and variety program.

Canadian star Natasha St-Pier will be at Notre-Dame d’Espérance Church on Saturday October 26 at 8:30 p.m., to perform “Jeanne”, the story of this extraordinary saint. Accompanied by her pianist, the singer will retrace in music the heroic destiny of Saint Joan of Arc.

In a luminous creation matching the walls and vaults of the Notre-Dame church, Natasha St-Pier wishes to offer a strong experience, combining concert and show. This evening is organized for the benefit of the children of Madagascar.

The “Art en Sidobre” fair, which began last Saturday, runs until Sunday October 27. This 22nd edition highlights painting and sculpture. Having become an institution in the region, “Art en Sidobre” invites several dozen artists each year to exhibit their work in the premises of the Lacrouzette rural center.

The guests of honor for this edition are the Franco-Swiss painter Florence Keller and the Tarn sculptor Robert Pujol. The exhibition is open every day from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
