The town of Settat lives in a worrying reality imposed by the phenomenon of stray dogs, which has spread in a frightening manner without the authorities concerned acting to seek an effective approach to deal with this scourge which is beginning to threaten the safety, security and health of citizens.
From the Muftah Al-Khair neighborhood in the west to the Al-Khair compound in the east, there are no words or demands from the jealous citizens, except for the spread of herds of stray dogs imposing a curfew, especially in the early hours of the day. every morning, until those who pray at dawn and students head to their places. The office was not spared from his attacks and frightening images as he moved between alleys, streets and neighborhoods without any control or surveillance.
Many citizens have sounded the alarm, warning of the spread of the phenomenon of stray dogs, which now invade residential areas day and night in the form of special patrols in the Al-Khair neighborhood, the complex of ‘Al-Khair and the Al-Salam neighborhood to the east and west sides, as well as the Al-Khair complex and other neighborhoods, where their aggression and domination increase at night and at dawn, leaving a kind of panic and fear among the citizens.
Concerned citizens posted photos of herds of dogs in a terrifying scene on their Facebook pages, warning of their brutality and liver attacks, not to mention the constant state of nuisance caused by their continuous barking throughout at night.
The same sources add that what has become frightening for the residents of the city are the fears of their bites, not to mention the diseases that these dogs can transmit to them, which justifies the urgent appeal to the tutelary authorities, in particular to the services sanitary and veterinary. and elected authorities, with the aim of ridding the city’s inhabitants of the danger of this scourge and putting an end to it once and for all.
