A year after announcing his departure from The Best Bakery in France on M6, Norbert Tarayre returns to the competition, but episodically.
For seven years, Norbert Tarayre traveled the roads of France in the company of Bruno Cormerais in order to unearth and crown The Best Bakery in France. But in 2023, the cook revealed in season 3 of Top Chef decided to leave the baking adventure to devote himself to his new project. He was in fact taking over the helm of 19.20, one of the restaurants in Prince of Walesa Parisian palace. To replace him, M6 called on a big name in gastronomy since Michel Sarran joined the show, alongside Bruno Cormerais and Noëmie Honiat. If this trio works well, it risks being a little shaken up next season.

If filming for season 12 has already started (for broadcast next year), a little novelty will appear very soon. And yes, Norbert Tarayre is back in action. Well, periodically. The 42-year-old chef will return from time to time to replace Noëmie Honiat, who cannot handle all the filming for scheduling reasons. Norbert Tarayre will be associated with Bruno Cormerais, Michel Sarran will only intervene at the end of the week, during the regional final. The iconic duo will meet again on Monday October 21 in the Centre-Val-de-Loire region. (for broadcast next year on M6). More recently, Norbert Tarayre resumed traveling filming in the spring as part of The best regional cuisine is at home! alongside Yoann Conte, currently broadcast on M6.

If he left the show, Norbert Tarayre is never far from The Best Bakery in France. And he also watched a few episodes of the previous edition and its new configuration. “I am very happy with this trio. It’s sparkling. Noëmie and Bruno, we have the impression that they are a father and his daughter traveling across France. And behind us, we have the uncle who we love very much and who we are happy to see again because he will make jokes, it is Michel Sarran. I think it forms a real little family, I really liked it“, he told us. We can’t wait to see the reunion.
