Neuvic-Whole. Saturday May 25, the 12 hours of Trad. music “Why not organize the 12 hours of Trad? » Here is the question asked by Alexandre, musician at Escòla dau Mont-Gargan, during a board meeting last November.

After the surprise, this original idea won everyone’s support and will come to fruition on Saturday May 25 at the Neuvic-Entier village hall.

The idea is simple, from 1 p.m. (and until 1 a.m.), 9 traditional music groups will take turns with sets of 1 hour each and offer the dancers: couvertures, circles, scottish, sautières and other traditional dances. All about sharing and conviviality!

The headliner will be a group straight from Dordogne: Anem, a duo formed by Nicolas Peuch and Lucia Roulet. For 2 hours, both will make you rediscover the traditional ball. Their dance music is a delicious mix of their origins which they hold dear. Lucia is a Gascon from Bordeaux, Nicolas is the child of the Périgord region. All imbued with influences from here and elsewhere.

The other groups: Les Chauf-pieds, Trad’bande Limoges, Nam li, Tornarem, Très d’aqui, Les Beaux nos vertes, Baptiste Bertoux and co and l’Escòla dau Mont Gargan.

An organization of the Escòla dau Mont Gargan.

Entrance: €10. Small restaurant and refreshment bar.
