Even though the employees of the leisure and culture department of the City of Saint-Georges are on strike, two concerts will be presented by the municipality for the Fête nationale du Québec and Canada Day.

Les Trois Accords will be present at the Carpe Diem space on the evening of June 23 while Marc Dupré will be at the same place on July 1.

The two concerts will be preceded by a 5 à 7 with food trucks and background music as well as an opening act and tributes.

The employee strike, however, forces the cancellation of the traditional family celebrations which usually take place during the day on June 24 and July 1.

The 13th edition of the Dragon Boat Race which was to take place on July 13 was also canceled.
