But the tension has not subsided. In recent weeks, the JA and the FDSEA, the two majority unions, have taken action again in Gers, Tarn, Hautes-Pyrénées, Haute-Garonne, Aveyron… The signs are now hidden or exchanged.
But in the Gardwe stood out on Friday October 18, 2024. This time, the JA and the FDSEA had called on their members to “recover” the panels exit from different municipalities in the department. Actions carried out at night. Then, the panels were stored by the unions.
While waiting to travel to… the prefecture. There, dozens of signs were hung on the gates.
More than 200 panels!
The same type of action was carried out in front of the sub-prefectures of Alès and Vigan. In total, between 200 and 260 panels, according to the unions, made the trip. Knowing that Gard counts 351 communes…
