After two days of rain, Haute-Garonne returns to yellow (then green) vigilance

Storm Leslie caused some damage in , including a huge outage depriving more than 100,000 homes of electricity for several hours. It was therefore in anticipation of this meteorological phenomenon – and to remind residents to be careful – that many French departments (around forty) had gone into orange flood and/or rain-flood or even red alert (for six of them). them) from this Thursday, October 17.

A return to normal for Haute-Garonne

Planning two days intense showers, winds and violent thunderstormsHaute-Garonne was therefore part of the long list of departments placed on orange vigilance, but this Friday, October 18, 2024, the vigilance was lifted, turning it yellow (i.e., “be attentive” according to Météo- criteria).
