“Thousands of scientific studies have shown that lowering speeds on different networks (motorways, ring roads, departmental roads, urban areas) is a very effective measure, quick to implement”, he said. “The essential control can be financed by the offenders”, continues the Calvados representative of the association, who proposes, at the same time, sanctions “proportional to the power of the vehicle or the means of the driver”.
