These objects all have a story. Furniture, lighting, and even clothing, these products are second hand. For customers of the resource center there is no doubt, this consumption model is ideal: “I bought dessert plates. I didn’t have one and in stores it’s more expensive. There, 2 euros for 6, that’s going very well,” explains a customer. Another adds: “Rather than wasting or destroying, it can be reused wisely, that’s a good idea.”

Behind the scenes, employees give a facelift to objects donated by individuals in the department. Here, the employees are all in a situation of professional reintegration. Kenan Kaya, employee of the resource center, indicates: « OWe take the game, we see if it is not damaged, if it is complete, if it is not torn, if it is in good condition. For the first time, to start work, it’s very good”. Nicolas Chanbeyron, another employee, says : “I’m someone who likes talking to people, so the store is a very good idea. It allows you to make contact with colleagues, it’s better than being at home. I’m very good.”

The “Coup de Pouce à l’emploi” association is at the origin of this social and solidarity project. Creating a resource center was an obvious choice for Michel Bozonnet, president of the association: “They are people in contact with the public. It is important because behind this contact, there is the restoration of confidence which is an essential aspect of the work we carry out. » In the coming months, other people undergoing professional reintegration could join the team of this new resource center. For the moment, there are 14 of them working there.
