The dog that accompanied him died
A 48-year-old man was hit by a passenger vehicle. In serious condition, the victim was transported to Pontarlier hospital, medically provided by Smur, in order to be airlifted to Besançon. Taken care of by the mayor of the town present on the scene, the dog which accompanied the pedestrian died.
The very shocked driver
Shocked, the driver of the vehicle, slightly injured, was also sent to Pontarlier hospital. The gendarmerie and the DRI (Roads and Infrastructure Directorate) were also on site.
