The Confederation of African (CAF) has confirmed that the CAF Awards ceremony will take place on December 16 in Morocco, for the third consecutive year. This prestigious event honors the greatest talents in African football. After the successes of the 2022 and 2023 editions, the North African nation is preparing to host this celebration again.

Although the exact location for the 2024 edition remains to be specified, the CAF Executive Committee has made the decision to award the organization to Morocco. The selection period for the awards runs from September 2023 to June 2024. Established in 2000, the CAF Awards, often called the African Ballon d’Or, recognize the best performances in African sport.

In addition to the CAF Awards, Morocco will also host the CAF Women’s Champions League in November 2024 and the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in 2026, confirming its central role in continental football.
