Two retirees avoided the worst
The owners are retirees who travel a lot. They were preparing to spend the winter in the sun. In the meantime, they had decided to settle in this hangar to rest before hitting the road. Fortunately, when the fire broke out, they were taking a nap in their camper van, parked a little further from the fire, which saved their lives.
The channeled fire
The firefighters have not been idle. Twenty-one heroes, six roaring trucks and even an aerial lifting arm were deployed to tame the capricious fire.
