: A day of business and conviviality at the CPME Côte-d’Or convention

More than 500 people were expected this Wednesday, October 16, at the Zénith in to address the issues of small and medium-sized businesses during the annual convention of the CPME of Côte-d’Or.

The annual convention of the CPME Côte-d’Or (Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises) brought together, this Wednesday, October 16, 2024, more than 500 people at the Zénith in Dijon. This unmissable event for local SMEs has once again proven its importance by combining professional opportunities and a friendly atmosphere. Among the highlights of the day, the “Business by CPME” workshop was a real success, allowing entrepreneurs to meet, exchange, and present their activities in a dynamic format.

“Business by CPME”: a key moment of the day

*The concept of Business by CPME is simple but effective. Participants, grouped in small circles of 25 people, have one minute each to pitch their business. The objective is to present yourself in a concise and impactful manner, before answering a question asked by one of the other participants. This format, particularly appreciated by participants, allowed each entrepreneur to highlight their expertise while discovering other local businesses.

Jean-Pascal, one of the organizers, underlined the importance of this initiative: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to create connections. Every year, we see collaborations being formed right here. » The business leaders present did not fail to highlight the stimulating and enriching atmosphere of these exchanges.

A competition to elect the best pitcher

To add a touch of friendly competition, each group of participants was invited to elect the best pitcher. The winners of the four groups found themselves on stage for a new presentation, this time in front of all the participants present in the Zénith.

This test, although fun, is no less serious. “You’re welcome, it’s a great opportunity. Getting in front of so many business leaders can really give your business a boost,” said one participant.

Geoffroy Secula

President of CPME Côte-d’Or

Why is the CPME at the Zénith today?

“Today we are organizing our traditional convention. The CPME organizes more than a hundred events per year, and the annual convention is the one that brings together the most business leaders. Today, we have a little more than 700 players in the economy of our territory. It really is the day of heritage and independent businesses.
We opened the doors this morning with the organization of a Business by CPME which we call BBC. This is a time when business leaders introduce themselves in one minute in subgroups of around 25 people. This allows them to present their companies, their services and to get to know each other better to facilitate commercial exchanges between our members.
This business will take place before the plenary conference, which will begin after the opening of the partner stands scheduled around noon. Our partners will exhibit their products and services to our members. Their participation allows us, among other things, to organize this day. This afternoon, our partners will also host four workshops on important themes such as digital, international, shared values, and mobility.
Then, we will have our network aperitif, an important moment of conviviality between our members, then we will close the day with the plenary conference and the gala dinner. »

Regarding the plenary conference, can you tell us more?

“The plenary conference will open with a sequence hosted by Marine Kostabady, who will question the three candidates to succeed François Asselin, our national president of the CPME. They will debate together and share their vision of entrepreneurship in .
After this sequence of approximately 35 minutes, we will have two renowned speakers. The first, Philippe Fournier, is a conductor who founded the Symphony Orchestra. He will draw a parallel between conducting an orchestra and managing a business. The second, Claudie Haigneré, scientist and astronaut, is the first French woman to have gone into space. She will open the way to the Milky Way, drawing a parallel between her space mission and running a business. She will show us how an adventure like going into space has in common with running a business.
We will conclude the day with a gala dinner, where we expect more than 500 people. »2b117deb4e.jpg8e4ca4c7bd.jpg9b5edf19bc.jpge937358b1d.jpgaa3072893d.jpg59bcdcb3dd.jpg372c75eef7.jpg403d1e560e.jpgb0126eded4.jpg7cb51b4760.jpgfdbab1f75f.jpg701be5ca07.jpgcfa1a57e48.jpg6f1d98b11c.jpge80aba2286.jpg98cb8c095d.jpgcf55ad6fb1.jpgacf4f3f3ea.jpgcfaeacea97.jpgd694b2c52e.jpg3dfd4aa5da.jpg0c54c39d2c.jpgdb2938ddd5.jpg
