The system to assist with definitive grubbing up in viticulture opens this Tuesday, October 15. The file must be submitted before November 13, 2024, noon.

“To do this, you must be registered on the FranceAgriMer user portal“, informs the Chamber of Agriculture. A bonus is planned, of 4000€/ha for the definitive uprooting of plots in production registered in the CVI (Computerized Vineyard Record). If the national envelope is exceeded, a stabilizing coefficient will be applied to the CVI areas committed. A maximum of €280,000 in aid by company (70 ha) is fixed. Note, Brussels has just validated an envelope of 120 million euros of subsidies for this campaign to permanently uproot vines in .

For whom?

Are eligible: farmers (and GAEC, EARL, another legal entity having a wine activity). It is necessary to have a CVI + an active SIRET number at the time of the grubbing request and at the time of payment. Are ineligible: companies in judicial liquidation, those which have been the subject of EU sanctions and public law bodies.

The Chamber of Agriculture indeed supports assembly of the file in collective or individual form. Please note: the operator remains fully responsible for the file submitted.

Some conditions

To be eligible, you must renounce authorizations for new plantations for the six wine growing seasons from 2024. Also, to give up being able to use or extend the new planting authorizations unused expiring in 2024 and 2025. Wine growers must also deduct the “Ukraine” aid received.

The Agricultural Chamber helps with the file

Before December 31, 2024, decisions on grubbing-up grants will be made. From December 31, 2024 to June 2, 2025: grubbing up may be effective. June 3, 2025 will be the deadline for payment requests.
