Taste week in Nord-Pas-de-Calais: activities to discover the riches of our region and adopt a balanced diet

LTaste Week has been an annual event since 1990! What is this ? There is a major mobilization in between those involved in taste and their audiences. This year again, chef Gregory Cohen is the sponsor of this 35th edition which will take place from October 14 to 20.

This event promotes meetings between professionals from the land to the plate with all audiences, through activities. First in schools, in particular with the implementation of “taste lessons” in order to introduce people, from a very young age, to “the riches of our land, the seasonality of the products, the varieties, their flavors and how to consume them properly to adopt a varied and balanced diet”, we explain.

Chefs, farmers, bakers, butchers, greengrocers, breeders, beekeepers and even nutritionists and dietitians visit young people.

Without forgetting the adults that we are. Activities for the general public and events are also planned throughout the week such as tastings, special menus in restaurants, cooking workshops… The opportunity to discover the know-how of these experts!
