Tangier.. The Bar Association protests against the decisions of the Minister of Justice

Today Thursday, the Tangier Bar Association organized a demonstration in front of the Court of Appeal to protest against the civil procedure and criminal procedure bills.

The Bar Association will boycott criminal hearings for two weeks in protest against the decisions of the Minister of Justice, Abdel Latif Wehbe, and in application of the decision of the Moroccan Bar Association.

The Bar Association considered Justice Minister Wehbe’s decisions unilateral, particularly with regard to the draft civil procedure law and the criminal procedure law.

During this demonstration, many slogans were launched, reflecting the anger of lawyers at the decisions rendered by Minister Wehbe.

The Bar Association believes that the new decisions are a blow to the rights of citizens, men and women, to plead without restrictions, affect the rules of a fair trial and obstruct the right of citizens, men and women, to a safe, free and unrestricted remedy. the judicial system.
