The return of La Foire aux Plaisirs to

If you have passed by the quays of Bordeaux in recent days, you have inevitably seen her setting up. The Foire aux Plaisirs is back on Place des Quinconces this Friday. It will remain open until November 3. As for each meeting, twice a year, 80 rides and 120 stands are installed. Promotional days are organized on October 16 and November 3 all day.

This Friday, it will also be possible to purchase a rides pass for unlimited access to all attractions from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The pass is sold for 20 euros and the proceeds will be entirely donated to the Joc’s Heroes association whose volunteers, disguised as superheroes, go to hospitals to meet sick children.

The Fair is open every day from 11 a.m. for restaurants, and from 2 p.m. for rides, to midnight and until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

The 20th edition of the Animasia festival

To travel to Asia without leaving Bordeaux, we offer you this weekend the 20th edition of the Animasia festival which will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Parc des Expos. A special Japan edition this year.

On the program: demonstrations and introductions to origami and martial arts, cosplay, video games, concerts, exhibitions…

The Lire en Poche literary fair in

In Gradignan, this weekend is also the 20th edition of Lire en Poche, the first French literary fair dedicated to pocket-sized books. Around a hundred authors are invited from Friday to Sunday. An exhibition of vintage cars in Saint-Loubès

In Saint-Loubès, the Château des Dauphins is organizing a Vintage Car day dedicated to old cars but also to the most recent exceptional ones. On the program: car exhibition and activities. The Science Festival in Périgueux

The Périgord Museum of Art and Archeology offers, from Thursday to Sunday, numerous activities on the occasion of the Science Festival.

Pink October in Arcachon

New events around Pink October are offered this weekend in Arcachon. A pilates workshop this Friday at the Moulleau neighborhood center from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and yoga this Saturday at the Aiguillon neighborhood center from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. It’s free.
