Five musical evenings at the Quebec Carnival not to be missed in 2025

The Quebec Carnival unveiled on Wednesday several artists who will host the next edition, which will be held from February 7 to 16, 2025.

The Loto-Québec Stage will vibrate to the rhythm of Mariana Mazza, Habstrakt, Souldia, Sara Dufour, the Karma Kameleons and several other artists during the Quebec Carnival, who also took the opportunity to unveil the effigy of the 71e edition.

Under the immense Carnival dome, we will present five musical evenings, in a unique setting. The tone will be set for the party on Friday February 7 by Mariana Mazza with Tounes et jokes and guests, followed by DJ Danick Bastien.

The next day, it will be the turn of Electro-Frette UEF to warm up the crowd. Carnival goers will be able to stretch out with Habstrakt, Capozzi, Tizi, MVNGO, Ben Willo and TomDūno.

Souldia and Eman will be featured during the hip-hop evening on Thursday February 13. We will be able to see and hear the next day, at the Franco evening, the artists Sara Dufour and David Pineau. Finally, a 1980s-themed evening awaits carnival-goers with Karma Kameleons on Saturday February 15.

Varied programming

“We have five musical evenings. So, we try to have an offer that is varied. It’s super important for us to have musical styles that are different from each other to reach as many carnival-goers as possible,” said Jérôme Déchêne, programming director.

“This year, we also added humor with Mariana Mazza for the opening night, where humor and music will be in the spotlight. It’s a nice mix,” he added.

The dome, which will return for the third year, can accommodate a crowd of approximately 2,000 people.

“With the dome, it allows for a nice privacy, which actually creates a bubble for spectators and artists. It’s close to the Palais du Bonhomme, so people can attend a musical show while having a view of a rather unique ice palace,” continued Mr. Déchêne.

All these shows are included with the official Carnival effigy. The program comprising more than a hundred activities will be revealed in November.

The Carnival effigy is on pre-sale for $25 + taxes on the Carnival website. From the end of November, it will also be available in participating Couche-Tard. Starting January 13, the cost will be $39 + taxes.

The effigy will also be on sale on the sites during the event. It is not required for those aged 12 and under.
