Take out your gloves and your trash bags. The “Forges en Transition” association organizes a cleaning operation this Saturday October 12, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in Forges-les-Bains. This event is part of the “Green Essonne, Clean Essonne” operation, launched by the Essonne department and which takes place from September 20 to November 10, 2024.

49 kg of waste collected last year

To participate, simply go to the parking lot at the back of the church at 10 a.m. on the day, wearing gloves and a yellow vest.

A coffee will be offered to all participants before starting the cleaning operation. At the end of the collection, at 12:30 p.m., a convivial pot will be offered.

“Last year we were 22 volunteers and collected 49 kg of waste in the morning. Record to beat,” specify the organizers.
