The Route 104 intersection is now open to get to downtown (north side). As for access to rue Jacques-Cartier Sud (south side) towards Bedford, this artery is open to local traffic up to civic number 800 including the Alarme Supérieur Sécurité Incendie and Pneus et pièces HD businesses.

Residents of Domaine du Sentier and users of the CPE Le Château des Frimousses no longer need to make a detour to access Route 104. They can take the access path to rue Jacques-Cartier Sud, via the extension of rue du Ruisseau and rue de la Traverse, heading north.

Upcoming traffic lights

New traffic lights will be installed later in the season due to manufacturing delays. A pedestrian crossing and call buttons integrated into the pedestrian traffic lights will be part of the future intersection.

The need for this work, which began around mid-August, was explained by the aging state of the infrastructure and the emergence of a new district in Farnham.
