RAMEN RAMEN 2024: a third edition of the festival

From October 14 to 27, 2024, Montreal becomes the playground for gourmands with the third edition of RAMEN RAMEN Fes, a festival entirely dedicated to this tasty bowl of noodles. Attention all ramen lovers, one of the most comforting and iconic dishes of Japanese cuisine!

RAMEN RAMEN, these are two weeks of pure happiness where you are invited to discover and taste star ramens in the city’s participating restaurants. Each establishment will feature an exclusive recipe, concocted to surprise your taste buds and celebrate this dish in all its splendor. Soft noodles, rich broths, generous toppings, all with creative variations specific to each restaurant.

One of the major attractions of this gourmet festival? You have the power! By tasting the star ramens, you will be able to vote for your favorite, thus helping to crown the best of Montreal. And that’s not all! A jury of experts made up of figures from the culinary scene (of which we are part), will join the event to elect their favorites. “Ramen, a true global phenomenon, has captured the hearts of foodies to the point of dethroning sushi in terms of popularity,” explains Thien Vu Dang, co-director of the festival. The objective of this festival could not be clearer: to highlight the creativity and quality of the ramen offering in Montreal while encouraging the growth of this cult dish outside of Japan.

So you don’t miss anything, an interactive map of participating restaurants will be available from October 10 on the ASIASIE websiteorganizer of the event. It will allow you to plan your route through the city. And to follow the news of the festival, consult the Facebook eventand be ready to begin this gourmet tour.
