The gendarmes were mobilized for a good part of the day, on the Picardy coast, this Sunday, November 10. Several groups of exiles were intercepted by the soldiers of Operation Poseidon: around thirty people in total.
Three small groups of three migrants were first spotted in the morning on the territory of the municipality. 16 other people were then taken into custody by the gendarmerie during the day, then, in the evening, a vehicle with equipment and three other people were arrested. The driver was detained for a time before being released.
Some of the exiles were required to leave the territory. One of them was also taken to hospital following pain. The weather conditions remain favorable for attempted crossings this Monday, November 11, before deteriorating at the end of the day.
