A ransom of 33,000 euros was demanded by his captors in exchange for his release. After the arrest of a suspect, the young man was finally found in a street in Asnières on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday May 8.
It is a dark affair whose threads remain to be untangled. An 18-year-old young man was the victim of a kidnapping, on the night of Tuesday May 7 to Wednesday May 8, in a shisha bar in the 16th arrondissement in Paris, BFMTV learned from a police Source.
Shortly after midnight, two strangers burst into the night establishment, located on Avenue Bugeaud, before forcing the victim to follow them.
A fake ransom delivery
Forced into a Fiat 500, the 18-year-old young man was then molested by his captors. They sent a photo of the victim to his father. In this photo, the young man was inanimate and the barrel of a handgun was pointed at his head. His captors then demanded the sum of 33,000 euros in exchange for his release.
A large police force was deployed and a false delivery of the ransom was organized. A suspect who came to collect the requested money was arrested before being taken into police custody.
The kidnapped young man was finally found, around 4 a.m., in a street in Asnières (Hauts-de-Seine). He had several injuries to his face, body and head. He was hospitalized.
The Fiat 500 which was used for his kidnapping was discovered, empty of any occupants, in the 19th arrondissement.
Informed, the Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation, before entrusting the investigations to investigators from the 1st judicial police district (DPJ).
