Three women from Ille-et-Vilaine on the Renaissance list for the European elections

The Renaissance list, led by Valérie Hayer, for the European elections of June 9, 2024, was made official this Tuesday, May 7. Unsurprisingly, Breton Marie-Pierre Vedrenne, outgoing Modem MEP, and spokesperson for the European campaign for the presidential majority, appears at number 3e place.

Two other Bretillians appear on the list of the presidential majority. Hermine Mauzé, president of Femmes de Bretagne and business leader based in Rennes, appears in 61e position. In 77e position, between Édouard Philippe and François Bayrou, we find Malouine Anne Le Gagne, geriatric doctor and leader of the minority in Saint-Malo.

“We need Europe”

“It is recognition of the commitment that I initiated several years ago as a local elected official Modem serving beyond the city of Saint-Malo, in Brittany in a vision of proximity and a European need for proximity serving of each inhabitant. With the war in Ukraine, this is a serious moment and we must all take our responsibilities to fight against the danger hanging over the European Union. We need Europe more than ever”, she reacts to his candidacy.
