The municipality of La Hague (Manche) wishes develop four interpretation trails on its territory.

In order to present the project to residents and collect their noticea exposure is offered until Thursday May 16, 2024 to the city hall of La Hague (presentation of the four trails) and in the four delegated town halls where the course : Gréville-Hague, Vauville, Jobourg and Auderville.

“An offer suitable for families and accessible to all”

“The objective is to offer a new offer suitable for families with young childrenAnd accessible to all as well as giving meaning to the discovery of La Hague while respecting the landscapes and living environment residents, while promoting its heritage », Informs Manuela Mahier, mayor of La Hague.

This new reception plan aims to offer a new way of visiting The Hague in a fair balance between several entities: the site, residents and visitors. Feedback shows that 71.4% of French people who visited Goury between the July 14th and the August 15, 2023 were from La Manche.

If attendance appears, at first glance, diversified in its practices (contemplative, recreational and sporting), it is mainly based on passive discovery (walks, Route des Caps, etc.), with parking as close as possible to the sites and a lack of offers and information on the activities to be carried out from these parking lots. Another remark noted is the fact that 51% of visits are carried out as part of the Route des Caps.

This cabotage amplifies the tensionson the territory and limits the quality of experience visit: multiplication of road trips limited visit time and reduced experience.

” There method of workingfor this visitor reception project draws on the diversity of heritage and arrangementsalready existing in the area, with the principle of offering discovery offers from existing parking lots to invite visitors to leave their cars and thus limit motorized flows along the route. road to the Capes . »
