We call on you to support the solidarity and friendly network project that is Rés à flots (Ràf) on Sunday October 20 from 5 p.m. CICP.
For 27 years, this network has enabled the delivery by barge of artisanal food products purchased directly from committed producers. And today, it is a question of acquiring the Séraphine barge which, for several years, has provided Ràf’s annual trip.
Séraphine is moored in the Paris region for deliveries for a few weeks and we hope that she will sail for many more years and will not be transformed into accommodation for example.
More broadly, it is for the survival of artisanal inland shipping that we are working. We are mobilizing to promote this mode of transport by small, slow barge, less polluting and which delights lock keepers who are jaded by only seeing tourist wafers on the canals. !
It is from this month of November that we must finalize this purchase via Rafiot (an association created to ensure the annual Ràf trip and in which we are all volunteers).
To conclude, it is the sustainability of the network on the waters that interests us and not the ownership which concerns us. ! This will be an opportunity to bounce back with the CSPCL on “ El Común and non-ownership » proposed by the Zapatistas a few months ago.
