“According to information circulating on social networks, a festive gathering of an undeclared musical nature, which could bring together several thousand participants, is likely to take place in the Vienne department between Tuesday May 7 and Monday May 13, 2024 inclusive”, indicates the Vienne prefecture. Given that no prior declaration has been filed with the Vienne prefecture and that the security forces as well as the emergency services will not be able to cope, in terms of resources, with such demonstrations likely to take place at various points in the department, the prefect of
Vienna has issued two decrees:
– An order temporarily banning undeclared festive gatherings of a musical nature such as “free parties” in the Vienne department;
– An order prohibiting the circulation of vehicles transporting sound equipment to an unauthorized festive gathering of a musical nature (including heavy goods vehicles) on all road networks (national road network and secondary network) of the department of Vienna.
These orders are in force from Tuesday May 7, 2024 until Monday May 13, 2024 inclusive.
