Thursday May 2, at the Hôtel restaurant de la Chartreuse in Cahors, the CPTS Sud Lot organized an evening of information and discussions on the theme of telehealth, aimed at health professionals. A territorial professional health community (CPTS) brings together professionals from the same territory who wish to organize around a health project to respond to common problems. In recent years, CPTS have been created throughout France. Faced with the reduction in the medical population and the increase in that of seniors, the liberal practice is set to evolve. The development of telehealth, in various forms, is one solution, among others, to deal with this national context. Telehealth is being deployed to allow everyone remote access to medical and paramedical care. This is a form of remote medical practice using new technologies. It brings one or more healthcare professionals into contact with each other or with a patient. There are 5 types of medical acts in the field of telehealth: tele-consultation, tele-expertise, tele-medical monitoring, tele-medical assistance, medical response provided remotely within the framework of medical regulation (SAMU ). During this evening, participants were able to attend several interventions: feedback and discussions on tele-expertise by Dr. Aurore Brun, dermatologist at the Cahors hospital center; presentation of the osteoporosis screening protocol by Dr. Chantal Moyano, rheumatologist at the Cahors hospital center; presentation of the teleconsultation project assisted by Stéphanie Roques, liberal nurse in Sauzet. The contribution of SPICO secure software by Lucie ARICKX. The evening continued with time for rich discussions and feedback from other professionals on telehealth, notably Laurent Labarrière, physiotherapist masseur in Cahors, Julien Lavaur, pedicure podiatrist in Prayssac and Christian Darré, pharmacist in Pradines .
