Uni-Mail lobby occupied by pro-Palestinian students

Published today at 12:41 p.m.

Between 100 and 200 people are currently in the Uni-Mail hall for an occupation in support of Palestine called by the Palestine Student Coordination – University of Geneva (CEP-UniGe).

“We wish to denounce the university’s inaction in the face of Israel’s occupation of Palestine. We sent our demands by mail to UNIGE. UNIGE does nothing and we will not move until these are fulfilled,” declare two demonstrators on the megaphone, in the hall of the university building.

A general meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
