Monday May 6, the starred establishment of Broc, near Issoire (Puy-de-Dôme), received the heads of the department for an official ceremony.

Around twenty Auvergne chefs received a beautiful red plaque decorated with one, two stars or a bib gourmand: distinctions from the Michelin gastronomic guide.

And for this 2024 edition, the traditional awards ceremony, coordinated by the wholesaler Metro, took place at Le Broc, within Adrien Descouls’ hotel-restaurant, Origines (one star).

At the table of 13 Michelin stars, we found Dorian Van Bronkhorst’s Atelier Yssoirien and Origines, the prestigious establishments in the Issoire conurbation; but also six other institutions in the department: the Clermont-based houses L’Ostal by Emmanuel Hébrard, Apicius by Arkadiusz Zuchmanski, Le Pré by Xavier Beaudiment (two stars) and Jean-Claude Leclerc for the establishment which bears his name; Wilfrid Chaplain’s Hôtel Radio in Chamalières, Rodophe Regnault’s Auberge du Pont in Pont-du-Chateau; as well as the L’Impulsif house in Châtel-Guyon, where chef Rémi Laroque was moved to receive his first plaque.
