24,000 licensees in Sarthe
If football is king in Sarthe with nearly 24,000 members, one sporting discipline really seems to be enjoying growing success over the past ten years: running. Moreover, starting in the spring, several races open to amateur athletes are held on our territory. Having a good time in the great outdoors, wanting to let off steam, taking care of your body, wanting to surpass yourself to beat individual times… the motivations are diverse and varied. With, very often, a lot of public following and encouraging these athletes along the route. This was the case recently at Underlined-under-Ballon with the complicity of the sun and a confirmed master of ceremonies in the person of Jean-Claude Raison.

Neuville-sur-Sarthe (May 8), Ste-Suzanne (May 25), La Bazoge (June 9), St-Léonard-des-Bois (June 23), Saint-Saturnin (December 14) and St-Léonard-des -Wood (March 1).
