France reaffirmed, on Friday, its unwavering attachment to its exceptional partnership with Morocco and its determination to continue to deepen it, following the judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) on fishing agreements and agricultural between the EU and Morocco.
In a press release, the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs stressed that the relationship between the European Union and Morocco is therefore of a strategic nature.
France, which “take note” of the three judgments handed down on Friday by the Court of Justice of the European Union, affirmed that it will continue to work with its European partners to strengthen their exchanges, particularly economic, and to preserve the achievements of the partnership, in respect for international law, indicates the same source.
As the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron wrote to King Mohammed VI on the occasion of the Throne Day, France remains determined to support Morocco’s efforts in favor of the economic and social development of the Sahara, benefit of local populations, specifies the Quai d’Orsay.
