A man is between life and death after a collision between two semi-trailers Friday morning on Highway 30 near Beauharnois, in Montérégie.
Emergency services were called around 5 a.m. for an accident between two heavy goods vehicles traveling on Highway 30 eastbound.

The victim was transported to a hospital for serious injuries that put his life in danger, said a Sûreté du Québec (SQ) spokesperson.

Investigators specializing in collision investigations had to travel to the site to analyze the scene and try to determine the exact circumstances surrounding this serious road accident.
Highway 30 is completely closed in the east direction for an indefinite period at Chemin de la Beauce, the Ministry of Transport indicated on X.
