The jury for the Ouest-France/Quai des Bulles 2024 prize met in Rennes on September 28 to designate the five finalist albums, announces a press release released on Friday October 4. The jurors, aged 18 to 35, will meet again on October 26, during the Quai des Bulles festival in Saint-Malo, to elect the winner.
The winning author will receive a grant of 2,000 euros and will benefit from a promotional campaign in the pages of the newspaper West France. This future winner will succeed Eric Salch and his comic strip Autonomy residence (Dargaud).
Quai des Bulles wants to promote comics and a policy in favor of books and reading. Today he became the 2e BD festival in France in terms of attendance, notably welcoming nearly 46,000 visitors over three days during its last edition.
