Established for more than 35 years in the Forum des Halles, this cultural place which depends on the city of Paris is dedicated to images in all their forms: cinema, video, games. It aims to be accessible to a wide audience. It is also a place for teenagers to learn new technologies.

In this passage, we will see that the Forum des images has two projection rooms where film still has its place.

Every year, the Forum des images invites you to discover a foreign city through the films filmed there. After Los Angeles, Naples or Lisbon, this year’s portrait of the city explores Hong Kong, one of the capitals of the 7th art.

In recent years, the Forum des images has opened its Tumo premises, a free digital creation school intended for adolescents aged 12 to 17. The goal is not to make them geeks or professionals, but to teach them to create with digital tools.

The Forum des images is organizing a festival which presents around twenty works in virtual reality. Games, stories lived in 360 degree immersion. A competition rewards the most talented creations, and the public can also come and discover them.
