This is particularly what Nathalie Savaton, 5, ardently defendede vice-president of Tours Métropole. The mayor of Savonnières, delegate for tourism development, outreach and the city of gastronomy, intervened during the speech after excusing the absence of President Frédéric Augis. “The first metropolitan fair”

The elected official from Tours Métropole especially welcomed the holding of this “first metropolitan fair”, recalling that the community was now the owner of the exhibition center. And that it is a partner of the event supported by Tours Événements.

“There are still a lot of projects to be carried out but we have already redone the surface in front of the halls, to encourage movement”, underlined Nathalie Savaton before passing the microphone to Emmanuel Denis, mayor of Tours.

Rewards for the elected officials present

These three elected officials were all distinguished by the president of the departmental Olympic and sports committee of Indre-et-Loire (CDOS 37). Alain Jahan gave each of them a t-shirt specially created for the occasion. The president of CDOS 37 also presented a pin and a medal as “first prize” to Géraud Lanièce, director of Tours Événement.

This is the number of sports committees participating in the fair. Some 200 volunteers are mobilized and 450 schoolchildren will be welcomed Monday May 6 and Tuesday May 7.
