Two radars were cut during the night of May 3 to 4, 2024. The first in Montilly-sur-Noireau, the second in La Ferrière-aux-Etangs (Orne). For one of them, it’s the second time in a few weeks.

Already shot down at the beginning of March

He won’t last very long. The turret radar, installed in Montilly-sur-Noireau (Orne), between Flers and Condé-sur-Noireau () was once again cut off.

The radar was sawn apart at the base during the night of May 3 to 4, 2024, making it, obviously, unusable.

It had already been neutralized during the night of March 1 to 2, 2024, at the same time as several other radars in Orne: Putanges, Saint-André-de-Messei And Champcerie.

It was returned to service on April 15, 2024.

the bag, the chainsaw

Second radar attacked last night, that of La Ferrière-aux-Etangs. It had until now been preserved, except by farmers who covered it with a bag a few months ago.
