In Gironde, more than 1,300 jobs to be filled at the Aerospace and Defense Exhibition

Thursday May 16, 2024, Mérignac (Gironde) welcomes the second edition of the air show space and defense (ASD) dedicated to employment. The result is more than 1,300 positions to be filled.

This living room “recruitment and promotion of the aeronautics sector will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pavillon du Pin Galant, located 17 avenue Roland Dorgeles.

The aeronautics, space and defense sector brings together “300 establishments including 110 subcontractors and major contractors as well as 12,700 jobs on the IOM Bordeaux Aeroparc sector (Operation of Metropolitan Interest)”, underlines the city of Mérignac.

Activities, meetings, conferences…

During the show, 47 companies and 10 training organizations will be aimed at people looking for work, retraining and young people from college.

Several spaces will be planned: business ambassadors, business pitches, attractiveness, recruitment and reception. Of the activities, conferences, meetings with professionals and much more will be organized.

Opportunities will be available for all types of profiles (administrative, technical, engineering, etc.) with or without a diploma, with or without experience.

Human resources advisors will also be available to assist candidates in the preparation of their application file and give them advice on how to succeed in their interviews.

The show is organized in partnership with the towns of Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, Haillan and Mérignac, France Travail, Bordeaux Métropole, ADSI Technowest, Mission Locale Technowest, Bordeaux Technowest, Tarmaq Cité des savoirs aéronautiques et spatial , GIFAS, UIMM, BAAS and the rectorate.
