This was part of the plan to overhaul the city center of Lorient (Morbihan), carried out for a year by the town hall of the city of six ports. After the pedestrianization of several axes and the opening of paid parking lots, an electric shuttle will circulate in the city center of Lorient from Monday May 6, 2024. Called My shuttle – My city center, the circular line, which replaces the current line 12 of Izilo, the public transport network of Lorient Agglo, will serve “13 strategic stops” around the Lorient hypercenter: from the SNCF station, to the cinema, via the Scorff hospital and the Palais des Congrès . It will run every 25 minutes from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
Free for users of paid car parks
To encourage motorists to do without their vehicles in the city center, use of the shuttle will be free for those who park in one of the paid car parks managed by Effia. Several of them are also served by the new line. For other users, the prices will be those applied on the Izilo lines.
