After a chase between Bordeaux and Vayres (Gironde) on Wednesday evening, three police officers from the anti-crime brigade fired on the vehicle of an individual refusing to comply.

An individual engaged in a chase for nearly 25 kilometers with three police officers on Wednesday evening in Gironde. The anti-criminal brigade (BAC) was near Place Ravezies in Bordeaux when it tried to control this young person, aged 20, who was driving in a stolen car with a false registration plate. Two open investigations
Seized of the case, the Bordeaux public prosecutor’s office opened an investigation against the individual on the counts of “attempted intentional homicide” against the police officers and “aggravated refusal to comply”. She was entrusted to the Organized and Specialized Crime Division (DCOS).
A second investigation, in accordance with the procedures in force when a police officer uses his weapon, is carried out by the General Inspectorate of the National Police (IGPN) in order to ensure that the exact conditions for self-defense were met.
