APEF, a brand recognized for its expertise in home services, has inaugurated its second agency in Pas-de-Calais, strengthening its footprint in its field. This brand new establishment, based in Beuvry, opened under the direction of an ambitious former police officer, Dominique Ryckewart.

An atypical franchise journey for a local mission

On April 8, the town of Beuvry saw its first personal services agency open its doors thanks to APEF and its new franchisee, Dominique Ryckewart, who is betting on proximity to meet the needs of rural communities.

Dominique Ryckewart (61 years old) embarked on an entrepreneurial adventure after a career as a police officer followed by various professional experiences ranging from textiles to insurance. Today, he intends to use his acquired skills to provide essential support to residents of the region.

This second APEF departmental agency relies on a varied offering: cleaning, ironing, help with shopping, meal preparation, and childcare for children over three years old. Serving a large sector, including Noeux-les-Mines, Lapugnoy and Lestrem, it has a clear objective: to become a major player in local employment by recruiting 5 to 6 employees by the end of the year and by serving the least 80 customers.

The manager, who already hired a first employee in April, also plans to add gardening services to even better meet the needs of residents. This ambition is the sign of a strategy resolutely focused on the well-being of residents and the economic development of the region.
