HAS Nancy like Metzthe day of Tuesday October 1, 2024 will be marked by disruptions.

Several trade union organizations are calling on workers to strike and manifest for increased purchasing power, retirement at 60, strengthened public services, but also improved working conditions.

Demonstrations organized in and

In Nancy, a demonstration will start from the Dombasle square at 2 p.m. For the moment, the route taken by the procession has not been communicated.

On the Moselle side, and more precisely in Metz, the demonstrators will leave from the Place Charles de Gaulle at 2 p.m. They will take rue Gambetta, the Mondon roundabout, rue Robert-Schuman, rue Churchill, rue des Clercs, rue Fabert, place d’Armes, rue d’Estrées and will reach Place de la Comédie.

Disruptions expected on the Stan network and the Le Met’ network

Due to the protests, disruptions are expected on the side of the Stan network. THE lines A, T2, T3, T4, Corol, 11, 12, 13, 15 and 16 will be deviated from 2 p.m.

Same thing regarding the Le Met’ network. The disruptions will concern the lines: Mettis A et B, L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, N81 et N83.

Still on the side of transportsthe social movement will not impact rail traffic in the , according to the SNCF.

Disruptions in schools and canteens

In Nancy, two early childhood structures will be closed and another will be partially closed. Of the 44 municipal schools, 4 schools nursery schools will keep their doors closed and 15 establishments are concerned by the minimum reception service which will take place at the Paul-Freiderich center. After-school care, whether in the morning and/or evening, will not be offered in 13 schools. As for school restaurants, 14 will be closed.

In Metz this time, only one school will close its doors and 29 classes will be on strike. Regarding school catering, it will be provided for only 10 establishments. Finally, morning reception will not take place in 13 schools.
