Aisne, Oise and Somme on orange alert
Météo-France has placed the Picardy departments and a large quarter of northeastern France on orange thunderstorm alert. Vigilance begins at 6 p.m. and lasts until 3 a.m. this Thursday, May 2.

Vigilance Météo France recommends being attentive to people practicing activities sensitive to weather risks.
Temperatures will be mild for the day and will reach 21°C in Saint-Quentin.
The south of Picardy could be particularly affected by hailstorms.
