They have funny looks. Both bizarre and funny, playful and fantastic, the bollards against parking in the Danton district of Le Havre have been revisited by the Le Havre-born street artist, Cyklop aka Olivier d’Hondt.
A playful and anthropomorphic art
Be careful, they are watching you. The bollards in the Danton district, Allée Aimée-Césaire, no longer go unnoticed, since the street artist Cyklop alias Olivier D’Hondt added his graphic touch inspired by the world of Lego: bollards with an eye, a mouth, with mocking or amused expressions, truly intriguing characters. A playful and anthropomorphic art which borrows its artistic language from toys, comics or animal bestiaries.
Cyklop alias Olivier D’Hondt is a native of Le Havre and lives in Bagnolet, in the Paris suburbs, where he has his workshop. The artist creates personal installations for many cities, which revisit our use of public space.
