“Produce in Switzerland? My eye!” This was the title of a panel at the Forward Forum, organized Tuesday at EPFL by The weather. The question is trending in the face of the climate issue which advocates for short circuits, but also in a context of growing geopolitical tensions and supply chains threatened by some rebels in Yemen.
Around the table, entrepreneurs sensitive to global warming and its consequences. Among them are two winners of the SUD Prize (“sustainable start-up”), Enerdrape and Bloom Biorenewables. Produce in Switzerland? However, they expressed their hesitations.
