Morocco-Brazil: at what time and on which channels?

Morocco challenges, this Sunday, September 29 at the Universal Sports Complex in Bukhara, Brazil in the quarter-final of the 2024 Futsal World Cup which takes place in Uzbekistan until October 6.

This duel presents itself as a remake of the 2021 World Cup in Lithuania where the two selections faced each other at this same stage of the competition. Victory went to the Brazilians with a narrow score of 1-0.

Atlas Lions and Seleção faced off in October 2022 during a double friendly confrontation in Brazil. The first duel ended in a draw (0-0) while the second turned to the advantage of Brazil (4-1).

Lions without complexes

Having to deal with injuries to some of his players, national coach Hicham Dguig nevertheless remains confident by focusing on this historic meeting.

«We will face the best team in the world and in the tournament. For sure, we will change our game strategy and make changes. But the most important thing is that the players show concentration and know how to overcome pressure“, declared the boss of the Lions to us on the eve of the meeting.

For Moroccan international Soufiane Borite, the match will be very difficult to negotiate. “Brazil, he said, has great players. But we also have great players despite injuries. We will do our best to live up to the expectations of our audience.»

As a reminder, the Atlas Lions qualified for the quarter-finals by beating Iran (4-3). The Seleção, for its part, crushed Costa Rica (5-0).
