HIGHLIGHTS

This year again, the first stage ends in the town of Vendôme with a super-special of 830 meters. In this one, Lucas Darmezin imposes his Citroën C3 Rally2 in front of the three tenors of the championship. In the evening of this first day, Léo Rossel remains well established at the head of the event, 19s2 ahead of Yoann Bonato and 33s5 over Eric Camilli.

Provisional fourth before this super-special, Pablo Sarrazin made a small mistake and saw Darmezin overtake him. With the first Ford Fiesta in the ranking, Réhane Gany is also in the fight for this fourth place.

In this special which was inevitably unsuitable for his Porsche, Anthony Cosson lost ground on the four-wheel drive and fell back to 7th. The Porsche driver still maintains the advantage in FRGT over Raphaël Astier.

In the Alpine Trophy, Ludovic Godard dominated throughout the day to finish ahead of Pierre Roché this evening while Yann Clairay retired due to a mechanical problem on SS6.

In the Michelin Amateurs trophy, Ludovic Jeudy and Sylvain Seray are separated by only seven seconds this evening. Facing the F2000s, Thomas Capelli is also in the mix.
