Last stage of the Belgian journey for the Pope this Sunday: here is the program for his day

The Pope concludes his Belgian trip this Sunday.

After visiting the Koekelberg basilica this morning and UCLouvain this afternoon, the pope will conclude his Belgian trip with a high mass this Sunday morning, in the aisles of the King Baudouin stadium, in front of tens of thousands of people.

This opportunity will therefore be the last to see the Pope in Belgium. There will be a major security system from tomorrow morning at the Roi-Baudouin stadium. Everything will start 9 hours when the Pope leaves Brussels Expo to go to the stadium.

During his journey, he will be greeted one last time by the crowd on his route which will pass through Avenue Miramar, Avenue de l’Impératrice and part of Avenue Houba de Strooper.

Around 10 a.m.s, the Eucharist will begin: there will be giant screens outside and 39,000 people are expected inside with reservations, of course. But given the system put in place, everyone will be able to see the Pope one last time before his return to Rome.
