This congress is an opportunity for city councilors to interact with colleagues to discuss multiple issues. “Exchange, pool, experiment, share, activate work to be more united and more efficient in our territory”, explains Jean-Michel Arnaud, president of AMF 05, to BFM DICI.

Several issues addressed

For Valérie Garcin-Eyméoud, mayor of Molines-en-Queyras, the feeling of feeling helped during the congress brings a certain comfort. “It is important that we show solidarity and that this association raises our problems. And it’s by being together that we are stronger,” she emphasizes.

Prefect Dominique Dufour was present during the congress to provide his support. “State services are constantly supporting mayors. Talking about the future is also extremely important,” he declared.

The congress also brings good news for elected officials. Valérie Rossi, the deputy for the second constituency of Hautes-Alpes, learned from BFM DICI that the State has released an envelope of three million euros to repair part of the damage linked to the floods of last December.
